This event  presents a valuable opportunity for foreign pregnant women to acquire a comprehensive understanding of various facets related to childbirth.. We will provide clear and concise explanations about the childbirth process, effective communication with hospitals,postpartum bodily changes,.navigating life with your baby, and the essential support from your partner.

  • Target Audience: 15 pregnant women (in their 24th week of pregnancy or beyond), with partner participation encouraged
  • Instructor:  Yukari Igarashi, Ph.D., R.N., F.A.A.N. (Professor of Women’s Health and Midwifery, St. Luke International University). She is a specialist in transcultural nursing and has developed informative booklets on childbirth and parenting, available in 18 languages. Her dedication extends to empowering foreign children with comprehensive sexual education and life planning guidance. She is deeply committed to offering childbirth and parenting support for foreign women and their families, addressing health concerns across different stages of foreign women’s lives. Moreover, she provides invaluable support to healthcare professionals and caregivers engaged in providing care to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
