The childbirth & postpartum workshop for foreign pregnant women in Japan is back !
One of the biggest life-events – childbirth and becoming a parent.When it comes to pregnant and her partners who are expected to give birth in foreign countries, it will be challenging and they must be full of anxieties in an unfamiliar language and culture.For those who are expected to give birth in Japan and her partners, we will be organizing a workshop covering the topic around “childbirth and postpartum”!
*The workshop will be conducted in English.
Welcoming Prof. Igarashi from St Luke’s International University who is an expert in multicultural nursing, we will be lecturing about…
✔ clear and concise explanations about the childbirth process
✔ the prospects of giving birth / the medical circumstances in Japan
✔ effective communication with hospitals
✔ postpartum bodily changes
✔ navigating life with your baby
✔ the essential support from your partner
with some practice.
Also you are welcomed to talk about your anxieties and ask questions!If you find yourself feeling anxious about giving birth and its aftermath, come and join us! Partners are all welcome as well😊

・Participation fee:500 yen per person / 800 yen per couple
・Capacity:15 expectant mothers
